Our Team:
Nigel Stanley
Nigel is a specialist in information security and is co-founder and CEO at Incoming Thought. He has written three books on computer technologies and works directly with a number of clients in the private and public sector including Bloor Research where he heads the security practice. Nigel has developed significant expertise in the field of cyber attacks used in cyber warfare, cyber terrorism and cyber crime. His specialist research area is the use of smartphone and mobile devices as a threat vector in these areas. Nigel is able to bring his technical knowledge together with his practical experience of cybercrime investigations and actively works as an interim CISO with key clients to help them derive business benefit from information security.
Nigel is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Institute of Directors and the British Computer Society and has an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London.
Ben Chai
Ben is co-founder and CFO at Incoming Thought and has over 25 years experience in the IT security industry as an engineer, author, editor and business owner. He has worked in the banking and oil industries to provide security of their information technology.
Ben is also active in the world of multimedia applying new tools and technologies to help provide better understanding and education of the various strands of risk and security. He is credited with a comprehensive security education programme on satellite television and with several hundred podcast interviews with leading security and risk experts across cultures and industries.
Ben has a BSc in computing from Royal Holloway, University of London.
Sarb Sembhi
Sarb is Director of Consulting Services at Incoming Thought, having been a Senior Consultant and Researcher. Sarb has a background in the public Sector as a Management Consultant, before entering the software development field as a programmer analyst and then project manager. It was as a development project manager that Sarb came into the Security field. Since his accidental entry into security Sarb has experience in all aspects of security, as practioneer, and as a contributor to the industry (through research and standards). Sarb's research includes "vulnerabilities of network CCTV systems", "data integrity attacks" and "cyber threats". Sarb is a regular speaker at Information Security Conferences around the world, including RSA Europe, HITB, BCS, ISACA, ASIS, IPSec, IFSec. Sarb is the founder of the International Secure System Development Conference, which will be going into its 3rd year.
Sarb is a member of: Chair of the Security Advisory Group of ISACA London Chapter; Chair of ISACA Region 3 Government and Regulatory Advisory Group Sub-Committee, and member of the ISACA International GRA Committee; member of the ISACA Cloud Computing Task Force; and was the President of ISACA (London Chapter); a member of InfoSecurity Magazine Editorial Board; a member of ISSA Advisory Board; member of the iGRC Advisory Group; Eurim; and an individual member of the Parliamentary IT Committee.

- Sarb Sembhi spoke at the White Hat event (organised by First Base Technologies) on Friday 14th October on "Cyber Warfare the upcoming targets, what can we do?"
- Sarb Sembhi was a panelist on the Securing the Road Warrior panel at the IPExpo Conference and Exhibition on Thursday 19th October.
- Sarb Sembhi spoke on "Preparing for CyberThreats and CyberWar" at Richmond Events IT Security day, on 8th November 2011.
